Alham “Ali” Carter is Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Foundation for Liberating Minds. He possesses a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies (CRES) from Texas Christian University (TCU). Ali developed a passion for social justice after recognizing the inequities of the education system. After his first year of college, he dreamed of chartering a school, ultimately resulting in the idea that created FLM. Through a transformative and anti-oppressive curriculum, Ali hopes to address the education system while creating a better future for marginalized communities. In his spare time, Ali is an avid reader, music listener, anime watcher, and OKC Thunder fan.
