Events, Partnerships, and Programs Officer

Position Overview:

The Events, Partnerships, and Programs Officer is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of FLM development events, measuring success and deliverables. This position also authors organization-wide reports and assists the development team in fundraising efforts. Lastly, they’re tasked with building partnerships with organizations, entities, and community partners whose goals align with FLM (e.g. - initiatives, projects, other activists, etc.)

Position Responsibilities: (Workload: 2-5 hrs/wk)

  • Assist Director of Accounting & Development in general FLM tasks

  • Develop staff programming

  • Research methods of community engagement

  • Identify community partners and prospects for collaboration

  • Communicate with current partners

  • Coalign potential opportunities for public engagement with FLM

  • Manage retreat and event logistics

  • Assisting in compilation of reports and statistics

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Advanced Writing Skills

  • Community and public engagement experience

  • Exceptional researching capabilities

  • Collaborative working habits

  • Familiarity with education challenges and needs in Oklahoma

  • Event planning experience and coordination

Development Team Description

The Development Team heads FLM’s fundraising and sustainability efforts by building our donor base, ensuring that our programs fulfill the mission of the organization and creating lasting relationships with FLM members and those who sustain our work. The Development Team helps shape FLM’s overall infrastructure building and strategic direction.
